in fact, user's tolerence of delay decreases as bandwidth increases. where
on narrowband a user might be happy to wait 8 seconds for a page to render,
on broadband they start clicking after more like 2. already fast sites are
even faster, so get used more.

less my personal experiences (though a 2mb cable modem *is* heaven) more
the feedback from the 200,000 european broadband users who use the
broadband portals i help build and manage.
