The only UK slang that leaps to mind is 'Falco!' - coined by those
cocky slivers at NTK to describe another web company going to the wall.
Although it's not net-specific, I'm sure our Transatlantic friends
would appreciate the terms 'pear-shaped' and 'Pete Tong' to describe
when things go wrong.
