But Nominet prefers if people use one of their members to do the
registration. Also, by going direct to a member (eg: Netnames), they
will pass on the discount Nominet gives to its members.
So it may not be "cutting edge", but atleast it is better organised than
some of registration bodies and a .uk domain is pretty good value for
money when you buy one from a member of Nominet who passes on the
discount!
