You could try a company called Brainstorm


They have a bunch of linux boxes with wires hanging out the back that have

all the relevant links to the 4 networks, and can do batch SMS for various

things like horoscopes/sporting events etc.


I worked on a joint project with them about a year and a half ago, and they

are seriously disorganised and were a nightmare. Their one technical person

worked all night and sleeps all day, which is kind of awkward.


I just checked their Web shite and it is still active, if still slow and

with broken images... plus ca change

But if you manage them right they could be a 'cheap' choice for some SMS

action.
