These are questions that you should have answered in previous projects and I
would say arnt relevant to the client. In the previous questions you should
have the 'what' to allow you to answer the 'how'.

To me if a client comes to you and says 'we'd like a flash based site' then
you need to guide the conversation back to the objectives of what the client
wants to do online. This is stating the obvious but online project does not
have to mean building a web site. It may mean sponsoring existing content,
some 'word of mouse' project or riding on the back of some new development
such as Wap or iTV.

To sum up is asking the client how to build a web site wise?

I don't know if this is any use, but it's something I already had lying
around. It may be a bit too specific:

<snip>

8. Which browsers/operating systems should the site be developed for?

9. What resolution should the development support?

10. Should the site be designed for 256 colours and/or should web-safe
colours be used in images?

Hope this helps,

Helen

regards to an online project .... off the top of my head, and mainly coz i'm
working on a v. complicated flash project that has to be finished in 3
hours, I can't think of ten.
